Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms apply when you use LGTM at looksgoodtome.dev or install the LGTM GitHub App. By using LGTM you agree to them. If you connect an organization’s repositories, you confirm that you’re allowed to do that for the organization.
The beta
LGTM is in beta and free to use. Features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If LGTM starts charging, you’ll be told before any charge applies, and nothing will be charged unless you agree to it.
Your account
You need a GitHub account to use LGTM, and you’re responsible for what happens under your account. GitHub’s own terms continue to apply to your use of GitHub.
Your data
Your code and your GitHub data stay yours. By installing the LGTM app you allow LGTM to read the repositories you choose, only to provide the service. The privacy policy explains what LGTM keeps and how to have it deleted.
Acceptable use
Don’t use LGTM to:
- try to see repositories or data you haven’t been given access to
- attack, overload or disrupt the service
- send unwanted team invitations
- break the law or GitHub’s terms
LGTM may suspend accounts or workspaces that break these rules.
Ending your use
You can stop using LGTM at any time. Uninstall the app on GitHub and delete your account in your profile settings.
No warranty
LGTM is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Complexity scores are estimates to help you plan reviews, and they can be wrong.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, LGTM is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If you keep using LGTM after a change, the new terms apply.
